Lost Dog New Music Ensemble explores the elemental forces of the natural world, as expressed by the music of some of America's leading composers. Highlights include George Crumb's Vox Balenae (Voice of the Whale), one of the great classics of American Music (performed under a blue light by players wearing masks), and the world premiere of Shawn Crouch's Quintessence, a work about the 'Fifth Element' - life itself. Complimentary reception to follow.
